Oak Shade Picnic Grove

Oak Shade Picnic Grove is available for rental during the late spring, summer and early fall months for company picnics, reunions, community events and other functions within the G.A.F. Park. The Park is the home of the German-American Festival and sits on a wooded twelve acre park in Oregon, Ohio.  It is one of the area’s most beautiful settings, tucked away  in a park with flower beds and well manicured lawns.

A wooded picnic grove with picnic tables, picnic shelter, kitchen and bar facilities and a children’s play area. The shelter building comfortably seats 125 with more seating under the trees at over 100 picnic tables. Also available are horseshoe pits, shuffleboard courts and a volleyball court.  Ample parking is available.

Rental is for a six-hour block of time.  

Rental times are flexible.

Renters provide their own catering as well as a certificate of insurance for liability coverage. 

Alcohol service, including bartenders, is provided.
